Projects

Besides the necessity to give financial assistance for education, food and lodging for the children, a lot of money is needed for construction, maintenance and furnishings of schools and hostels.
SAC supports yearly around 40 projects, which vary much in size and subject.
 







Some examples:

• Construction of a new school or hostel, extension of an existing building.
• Installation of wells and toilets.
• Efficient cooking installations to ensure saving of expensive fire wood.
• Construction of walls around a hostel for more security of the children.
• Generators for hostels without electricity to enable studying during the evening hours.
• Furniture and learning materials for a school or a hostel.
• Beds and mosquito nets for hostels.
• Repair of a leaking roof, renovations etc.
