SAC maintains intensive contacts with several Indian institutions who are preoccupied with education in the federal states of Jharkand, West Bengal and Orissa. These institutions apply for sponsorships for children or for financial support for projects that facilitate the quality of education. SAC makes a selection from these applications.

Volunteers from SAC make regular visits to schools and hostels in India. This ensures that SAC is well-informed about the local situation. The projects can be assessed and the spending of money can be controlled. Besides these inspection visits, SAC receives formal reports from the Indian institutions on a regular basis.

All work of SAC is done by volunteers; this clearly reduces the costs of management to a minimum. We do not make use of paid mailing lists or expensive advertisements. This means that donations and contributions are really available for the aims and purposes of SAC.
